Got Purpose?

Today marks the first day of our new committed, purpose filled journey towards better health.

WARNING . . . . .
What I am posting is more than slightly embarrassing to me, but beyond that we have a plethora of health issues in our household that can be tied to enjoying that good southern cooking (and beer drinking)too much.

First, a few stats:

  • I weighed in today at 219.8 lbs (I have been as heavy as 250).
  • I have a 45" bust, 43.5" waist, and 49.5" hips.  This makes me a Banana!!  Yes, a banana.  I didn't even know that banana was a body shape.  All this time I thought I was hourglass shaped.
  • I'm tired.  period.  just plain.
  • I need balance.
Ed & Lee are going on this trip with me, but neither of them agreed to be photographed, but I will tell you that they weigh 278 lbs and 358 lbs.    I have a plan, and plan to keep us on it!

Now for the aforementioned embarrassment, we'll see if this view gets any better in the coming days.

Here's to my new purpose.  Progress update post in 7 days!

2015: Our Year of Intentional Living

Beginnings are great.  Everybody has the best intentions when a new year, or new era, or new phase starts.  Those intentions often get thrown by the way side after a few short weeks.

This year will be our year of living INTENTIONALLY.  In every aspect of our lives, we will put forth effort of thought and planning to see through our goals toward Healthy Living and Debt Reduction while at the same time, remembering to throw a little lot of fun into the mix.

We will act purposefully with a goal in mind.  I can't wait to get started.
